  3. DragMax Jr program files:
  4.     DRAGMAX1.EXE - executable main program file
  5.     RUN_TIME.EXE - compressed-library support file   
  6.         HELP.HLP - help file with text and transmission/tire charts
  7.             .MAX - all saved program files w/ .MAX extension
  8.          DIR.TXT - current list of all .MAX files in the current directory
  9.       README.TXT - this very file you are now reading

  11.  * Make sure all the above files are located on the same drive and in the
  12.    same directory, .... (if any of the files are missing, the program will
  13.    not run).   Once all the above files are located in the same directory,
  14.    then type (at DOS prompt)->    DRAGMAX1   then press the <ENTER> key,
  15.    the program will execute.

  17.  Recommended Computer System :
  18.       1) DOS version 5.0 or higher, and a IBM-PC clone computer
  19.       2) CGA color monitor or better
  20.       3) Hardrive or one floppy disk drive, (preferably 3 1/2 - 1.44 MB)
  21.       4) 486/66 with math co-processor, (Pentium even better)
  22.       5) Printer

  24.  Typical DragMax Jr program execution times :
  25.       + 3 minutes = 286 with math co-processor, (painfully slow)
  26.        28 seconds = 486/33-SX without math co-processor
  27.       9.0 seconds = 486/33-DX with math co-processor
  28.       1.5 seconds = 486/66-DX with math co-processor
  29.       < 1.5 sec.  = Pentiums

  31.  * One other note -> This program "might" run faster in WINDOWS than in DOS
  32.    on some computers, ..... and then again it might run faster in DOS on
  33.    others.... try DOS first, (experiment) !    If while running in Windows,
  34.    and you are in the ANIMATION screen (Page 5 of 5) and the sound of the
  35.    reving engine sounds like its missing, EXIT the program, and run it
  36.    in DOS instead of Windows.   Another thing, program colors and text shape
  37.    may look different than what was originally programmed, if running
  38.    in Windows.

  41.  Shareware Information -  DragMax Jr registration fee is $ 60.00 U.S. dollars.
  42.      Registered users will immediately receive by US Priority Mail, a 3 1/2
  43.      disk with their name/or/business name, address, phone number included
  44.      in the DragMax Jr screens and this same info will be on the printout
  45.      data pages, for a more professional "LOOK" that you can show or give
  46.      printouts to your customers or friends.   You will also receive other
  47.      "FREE" software computer programs, one  called " RodMax Jr" that computes
  48.      piston depths every degree of crank rotation .... also reports CC volume,
  49.      CFM, Rate,etc. every degree.  Use to compare rod lengths/effects  !!!
  50.      Plus 2 other "surprize" computer programs with materials !!!
  51.      Registration will include "FREE-copies" of future updated versions being
  52.      sent to your address.   Also includes customizing of this program to
  53.      your liking .... can enhance some areas of data you might be more
  54.      interested in, can change program's colors, etc.
